With all my mumbo-jumbo about the Supernovel, it’s easy to forget just how hard it is for me to write the plain old novel portion of our story. I’m up to just two hours in the morning, and that is really taking all of my concentration and then some. My daydreaming is still constant, and I still don’t have the discipline to stay “on task” from start to finish. But it’s a start. (See Stephen King above as to the meaning of a four-hour/362 day commitment to his craft.) That’s where I’m going with this. I need at least that level of commitment to pull off the Supernovel.
