Torkel Falkenberg graduated with Ph.D. from Karolinska Institutet close to 30 years ago. After getting his Ph.D., he discovered that he was more geared to global health. He has dedicated his time and effort since 1995 to help low and middle-income countries with healthcare reforms. Through this work, he started working with the World Health Organisation. He is one of the authors of global strategy for traditional medicine for the World Health Organisation.
He is also on the advisory board for UNIPLAT. This is a platform specifically designed to help researchers and entrepreneurs worldwide get more exposure and connect with others who want to contribute to the improvement of global research and humanitarian project.
